The course runs over 6 weeks duration and can be modified due to student time constraints. Course work is by way of live class participation for both theory and practical assessment. There is an aspect of online activity which allows students to study and participate at their own pace. All assessment is logged within a portfolio which is collated and marked by your tutor. Ongoing tutor support is given throughout.

During the course you will be given instruction on the various forms of equipment used for electrical hair removal using both Short wave diathermy and blend. Areas for hair removal are the face, neck and underarm.

Epilation is regarded as a permanent hair removal solution and continues to be a viable treatment both in the beauty salon and clinic.  It has proven to be a very useful tool for removing troublesome hair from areas which could otherwise be difficult to remove hair from, as well as being the more desired treatment for those who cannot tolerate the more evasive procedures.

Our tutors have a high level of experience within the Beauty field both in education and industry and will teach you to the same standards as found in higher education.  This coupled with your input will allow you to progress to a level expected for certification.
