LEVEL 4 DIPLOMA IN AESTHETIC BEAUTY
This course has been developed for those wishing to pursue a career to work in the salon or clinic at a more advanced level. Skills acquired will allow you to work at a senior level whether in the salon or looking to work within a clinic setting. In recent years the Aesthetic industry has grown immensely with changes to course frameworks within the U.K, due to industry demands.

At ESA we offer various courses at level 4, however this particular course will give you the tools to further advance your skill set enabling you to move to other aesthetic type practices such as IPL/laser at level 4 & 5 respectively. This course offers a stepping stone in attaining those protocols sought in our current industry. The course is a demanding one which requires dedication to meet the time frame for which it is set. The protocols meet standards which are taught by way of assignments, oral questions. practical assessments; both formative and summative. Embedded within the course are other additional aesthetic techniques which allow the learner to become more advanced in their approach to treatments.
The course contains various elements such as microneedling and skin peels and dermaplaning which act as prerequisites to other courses for non-medics. For medics, who do not hold an aesthetic skin certification, it will give invaluable experience to those that want to increase their knowledge and skills of the skin care protocols used in industry.

This course runs over a duration of 16-24 weeks with both home study and classroom learning 1 day per week, which can and can be modified due to student time constraints. Course work is by way of live class participation for both theory and practical assessment. There is an aspect of online activity which allows students to study and participate at their own pace.

How you will be assessed?
Theory assessment is through ongoing assignments, most of which will be submitted to your student portal.
Practical observation and assessment takes place at the school by your tutor, however aspects the practical can be completed as distance learning.
Some of your practical will be spent in the clinic shadowing and working with clients.
On completion students are awarded VTCT & ESA certification
