The course runs over 2 days duration and can be modified due to student time constraints. Course work is by way of live class participation for both theory and practical assessment. There is an aspect of online activity which allows students to study and participate at their own pace. All assessment is logged within a portfolio which is collated and marked by your tutor. Ongoing tutor support is given throughout.

Covered within the course are the physics underpinning this technology. Here we look closely at the equipment and those settings required both for skin rejuvenation. A background in Beauty Therapy and Anatomy is desirable in order to achieve a deeper understanding when administering IPL. The course discusses Skin rejuvenation and the various IPL settings used to treat various skin blemishes and skin conditions fund both on the face and body. Protocols for pigmentation, photoaging, fine lines, all types of vascular skin conditions such as blood spots, telangiectasia, spider veins. Uniquely this course at ESA, adds the treatment of acne and rosacea as a highly demanded service.

This is a high level of expertise course and demands full attendance. On completion you will command the knowledge and skills required by employers. IPL is becoming more common place in both Beauty salons and Aesthetic and private clinics.
