The core philosophy behind Erasure Skin Academy is based on the importance of providing quality training from a clinic environment. We believe in the importance of teacher led training from within a real clinical setting that emphasises practical application of skills.
Recently there has been a need for change within the beauty industry, with a move to offering courses to a higher level to insure competency amongst beauty therapists. This has enabled those career minded therapists to move towards non aesthetic industry by enrolling onto courses at level 4 and 5; offering treatments from Ultherapy, Theramage to laser skin rejuvenation.
Erasure skin academy has a team of assessors and internal verifiers with various backgrounds in the Beauty and business area. The school is owned by Mae and David who having recently returned from 6 years overseas having brought invaluable skills back with them.

Mae has a diverse and extensive knowledge in Medical, Beauty, Complimentary and Holistic fields. With 20+ years of teaching experience in higher education she also has a Degree in teaching. Her experience in the Beauty, Holistic and Aesthetics areas was gained from commercial experience, in her own clinic and in the USA as an instructor. Having worked as a Beauty lecturer in West of Scotland College, formerly Clydebank college she left after 15 years to pursue other areas within industry. She was commissioned to co-develop the Florida Therapeutic School of Massage and Yoga in Orlando. Here she taught a wide range of modalities in massage to students with various backgrounds. During this time, she decided to return to practice in the aesthetic industry by enrolling onto laser and IPL course in Dallas and Florida. She now has her own clinic where she carries out skin rejuvenation treatments.

David is also a qualified laser skin specialist technician with many years in the business and teaching field. For 19 years he has been developing successful business in the U.K. and U.S.A.
