The course runs over 6 days duration (3 days class time) and can be modified due to student time constraints. Course work is by way of live class participation for both theory and practical assessment. There is an aspect of online activity which allows students to study and participate at their own pace. All assessment is logged within a portfolio which is collated and marked by your tutor. Ongoing tutor support is given throughout. Covered within the course are the physics underpinning this technology.

Here we look closely at the equipment and those settings required both for hair removal and skin rejuvenation. A background in skin and hair is required in order to achieve a deeper understanding when administering IPL. Types of hair for removal are discussed, with focus to colour, skin tone and hair type. Skin rejuvenation and the various settings discuss those skin blemishes and skin conditions to be treated such as pigmentation, photoaging, fine lines, all types of vascular skin conditions. Uniquely this course at ESA, adds the treatment of acne and rosacea as a highly demanded services.
