The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies has been devised to enable those who wish to enter the field of skin treatments but are coming from other industries. Students who wish to change career and therefore may not have any beauty qualifications may undertake this course. Previously you would be required to undertake a Level 3 Beauty Therapy course which takes longer and involves aspects that you may not wish to offer. If you wish a career as an employed and/or self-employed beauty/massage therapist but are working in an unrelated industry this course provides the access you require. It focuses on the key elements required to ensure you are fully trained, enabling students to then go on and study in specialist areas like Level 4 Laser & IPL, Level 4 Skin Needling, Level 4 Skin Peeling, Level 4 Ultrasound. This qualification is aimed at learners with no formal background in beauty therapy training who wish to gain access to additional study of advanced therapy treatments at level 4 or above. From here students can progress to further study at level 5/6 & 7
Entry onto this qualification can be via a successful skills test and interview.

Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety requirements, anatomy, physiology and pathology and electrical science, alongside skin analysis and safe practice treatment protocols for facial skin care. Learners will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to consult with clients and provide specific aftercare and home care advice.

Duration
This class is FastTrack . The course involves blended learning. You will have online access to theory handouts, workbooks plus PowerPoints.
Class consists of -
Two days duration for theory and practical
One day Theory exam and mock practical exam
One day for practical exam
Theory assessment is through ongoing assignments submitted by email and marked internally. Practical observation takes place at the school. All evidence is collated by way of a student portfolio which your tutor has access too. Ongoing support will be given throughout the duration of the course. This course involves both live class and home theory learning. Please enquire for details. You will be required to pass all mandatory units. There are externally set theory and practical examinations.

Level 4 Courses often meet the pre-requisites for Level 5 courses such as Laser Tattoo Removal, level 5 Blemish removal & level 5 certificate in Non-Surgical aesthetic procedures; which ultimately leads to level 7 certificate and/or diploma in injectable procedures.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Deposit is £500, deductible from the Total Course Fee amount.
Includes VTCT registration fee, exam/assessment fee, learning pack.
Course payments must be made in full before awarding the certificate can be fulfilled.
2 Payment options are available for courses. A payment agreement must be completed and all relevant payments must be paid prior to course commencement.
