Learners are required to hold a level 3 beauty therapy qualification or equivalent.

The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology is a substantial vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as a Reflexologist. This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 years or over and will support you to gain employment as a Reflexologist, as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role. Entry to this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 2 qualification in Complementary Therapy and/or a successful skills test and interview.
Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, and client care. You will also develop a range of technical skills enabling you to use reflexology techniques for relaxation and to promote self-healing for your clients. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.
The course runs over 16 weeks duration which includes 5 class days and can be modified due to student time constraints. Course work is via live class participation for both theory and practical assessment. There is an aspect of online activity which allows students to study and participate at their own pace. All assessment is logged within a portfolio which is collated and marked by your tutor. Ongoing tutor support is given throughout.
This is a very informative and enjoyable class for those looking to adopt skills for alternative practice and as an additional skill used as a Complimentary Therapy. 10 Case studies form the main focus for your learning, with pathological conditions in mind. This will be completed outwith the school. Demonstration and learning will ensure you are equipped with the skills and knowledge required for practice. Many employers look for therapists who possess these additional skills as it can be used both in the beauty and clinic-based industry. Many athletes too have been known to have a reflexology treatment due to its therapeutic qualities.
Our tutors have a high level of experience within the Complimentary and Holistic field both in education and industry and will teach you to the same standards as found in higher education. This coupled with your input will allow you to progress to a level expected for certification.

How you will be assessed?
Theory assessment is through ongoing assignments some of which is done as online student portal. Practical observation takes place at the school, however part of ongoing practical will be completed as distance learning. All evidence is collated by way of a student portfolio which your tutor has access too. Ongoing support will be given throughout the duration of the course. This course is also suitable for both live class and distance learners. For those learners who do not have access to computers can submit by paper form. Please enquire for details.
