The VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice is a practical-based qualification intended for those leading a team of internal quality assurance staff.
This course is self paced and includes a minimum of 2 days class work that can be modified to suit student time constraints. Course work is by way of home research, assignments, live class participation in the areas of both theory and practical assessment. There is an aspect of online activity which allows students to study and participate at their own pace. All assessment is logged within a portfolio which is collated and marked by your tutor. Ongoing tutor support is given throughout. This course is the next step from Education and Training and Assessing for Vocational Achievement. The Internal Verification Process plays an important role in monitoring and ensuring the internal quality of assessment and processes meet quality standards. By doing so you will be able to monitor the progress of assessment and give required feedback for review. Assessors who find themselves teaching courses such as SVQ/NVQ, VTCT are required to possess this qualification as part of their teacher qualification.

How you will be assessed?
Theory assessment is through ongoing assignments some of which can be done online. Practical assessment takes place at the academy. All evidence is collated by way of a student portfolio which your tutor has access too. Ongoing support will be given throughout the duration of the course. This course is also suitable for both live class and distance learners. For those learners who do not have access to computers can submit by paper form. Please enquire for details.
