The course runs over 2 weeks with 2 days class time and can be modified due to student time constraints. Course work is by way of live class participation for both theory and practical assessment. There is an aspect of online activity which allows students to study and participate at their own pace. All assessment is logged within a portfolio which is collated and marked by your tutor. Ongoing tutor support is given throughout.

This level 2 course is short but comprehensive enough to give you the knowledge and skills required for employment. Here you will be taken through the correct procedures and protocols for carrying out body waxing to a high level of expertise. Discussed are the anatomy of the skin and those skin types and what to look for to establish which products and equipment are suitable for your individual clients. The various different types of wax are discussed with health and safety in mind. You will carry out waxing to full leg, half leg, bikini line, underarm, top lip and chin, areola, back and chest. You will be given opportunity to wax all areas and leave with the confidence and skills to work in industry. This course you the access to our intimate wax class and other level 3 courses. An ideal opportunity for those wanting to move onto non aesthetic treatments such as Advanced epilation and Intense pulse laser.

Our tutors have a, high level experience within the beauty field both in education and industry and will teach you to the same standards as found in higher education.  This coupled with your input will allow you to progress to a level expected for certification.
