ESA CERTIFICATE IN LASH LIFT AND TINT
Techniques and products are discussed for the safe application of lash lift and lash tinting. Eye treatments have never been so popular! This will offer client an alternate choice to those who don’t want lash extensions or the need to wear mascara. Using the latest techniques to give that ‘open eye’ look.
Lash lift has progressed from using eyelash rods to using silicone shields to help lift the natural lash slightly higher. A perming lotion made of organic solutions ensure that your lashes are protected unlike methods used before which could cause your lash to become brittle and break off causing long term damage. These solutions offer moisture to the lash for overall health. Treatment times are not long but will depend on client hair type. The outcome gives you an enhancement to your eyes without the additional expense of having regular eye lash extension which can be very addictive and pricey. Clients will require the lift every 6 to 8 weeks and may also opt for a lash tint which last 3 weeks. Tinting application is carried out to the lashes using various colours best suited to your clients, the correct products, how to mix and any patch tests required for safe application are all taught.
Covered in class are all health and safety aspects of carrying out eye treatments in a professional and safe manner. Contractions and what to look for, contraindications to treatment, advice and aftercare for your client. You may wish to enrol onto the ESA Lash and Brow Treatments course and/or our full time VTCT Level 2 Beauty Therapy course.
